SMART TFT for access control
Recently we sold several development kits for a 7 inch SMART TFT display. The development they are used for a new system in access control for recreation areas such as camping sites, marinas and special event areas.
The smart display has many features and integrated functionality. It can communicate directly with a host like a PC system. In the past the only option for such communication was a display with an embedded PC board or ARM CPU board and does not need an OS. Now the whole system is just slightly thicker than the original display. To make the integration easier, the display now has front mounting ears on the left and right side. This makes the solution rugged and ready for industrial use.
FDT's smart solutions can be ordered as a display only or in combination with a complete development kit. They include cables for programming and communication, a dedicated and easy Software Development Kit , power adapter and touch controller.

LED backlight unit for vending machine
Several months ago the thought came to one of our customers to light up the front of their vending machine so the name and logo of the vendor would be more noticeable to people in the shop. In the past they used light tubes (like miniature T8 tubes), but they were not rugged enough and the lifetime was limited. Next to that the brightness was uneven.
This is now all solved with the LED module that we were able to supply based upon their specification such as dimensions, brightness, voltage input and light guide requirements.
DiBis can support projects worldwide, through our office in The Netherlands as well as in Taiwan. The development was done in the Benelux, but the manufacturing in Asia.
Our efforts enabled the customer to have samples on a very short term, delivery of a first production run and in the near future also to support the mass production series. We believe this shows that we are a company that is reliable, flexible and versatile.

Museum switches to LED lamps
An army museum has chosen DiBis to find the right solution for their lighting problem. New safety and insurance regulations dictate that the regular light spots must be low power, but mostly low heat. This way the possibility of a fire is decreased enormously.
The lighting they now have is a downlight, 7x3W (Cree LED), warm white. It is fully compliant to the new regulations for museums and will also save money because of lower power consumption and longer lifetime.
Our LED lighting range consists of high power SMD/SMT LED's, light bulbs and complete lighting solutions.
