SMART LCD (and OLED) Displays
In addition to displays that need intelligent interfacing, there are also products that are direct plug-in to a host or have a microprocessor integrated. Customers have a high level of integration available as a standard product. The smart displays are available as LCD or TFT. In some cases the ARM CPU board can be bought separately.
Microprocessor on board
Bolymin currently has three types of LCD displays with an integrated Microchip 16 bit PIC microcontroller, namely 2x20 COG FSTN positive white LED, 128x64 COG FSTN positive white LED and 240x64 COB FSTN positive white LED and a 128x64 OLED yellow type.

Microprocessor on board
From Bolymin we can also offer two types of LCD displays with an integrated ATMEL 8 bit PIC microcontroller, namely 240x128 FSTN positive white LED and a 320x240 COB FSTN positive white LED.
With a built-in 64 KB flash memory, 4KB SRAM and 128KB EEPROM, it can store a number of images and commands so the display will respond immediately to the host.
Interface signals that are standard on the display are one isolated RS232/422/485 port, high speed SPI and I2C. The operation is at a low 3,3V. For interactive use, a 4-wire resistive touchscreen is available.
